'Dragons of the Spectrum' Facilitator Training

Dragons of the Spectrum and Dragons of the Spectrum PLUS are structured tabletop role-playing programs designed to support social communication, emotional regulation, teamwork, and flexible thinking in neuro-divergent children. Developed by Clinical Psychologist William Ellison, these evidence-based group programs use the engaging world of fantasy storytelling and cooperative play to build real-world skills in a safe and affirming environment.

This facilitator training program is designed for psychologists, therapists, educators, and allied health professionals who want to run their own 'DOTS' groups confidently.

 

This two-day training program takes place online, and includes:

• A step-by-step guide to running both the DOTS and DOTS+ social skills programs

• Access to ready-to-use adventures and resources, character sheets, visual aids, and session plans

• Practical tips for managing group dynamics, emotional regulation moments, and behavioural support

• An overview of the therapeutic goals, developmental rationale, and adaptations for different ages and ability levels

 

Whether you're new to tabletop role-playing or a seasoned Game Master, this training equips you with everything you need to deliver a dynamic, neuro-affirming social program that kids will love — and learn from.
